Heads Up Seven Up
‘Heads up seven up‘ is a fun game usually played in the classroom. However, it can be played at churches, bingo parlors, or anywhere there are multiple tables and kids.
Here’s how it works:
Everyone puts their heads down on their desks and extends one thumb. The teacher (or parent) chooses one person as “IT.” He/she goes around touching the thumbs of six other people. ”IT” then goes back up to the front of the room. If your thumb is touched, you go to the front of the room also. When this has been accomplished, “IT” yells, “Seven up!” Everyone raises their heads and has to guess which of the seven people is “IT.”
This is a fun game that is played a lot in school. I used to be good at this, as when I would pick the 6 other kids I would make sure I picked 5 boys and one girl. Since I was a boy, it made it harder for the kids to figure out I was “IT”, because there were 6 of us boys up front to choose from.
